Salem Social Village is excited to announce that it has been approved for the Global Giving Gateway Challenge starting on November 18th. Global Giving is a charity NGO that helps other small NGOs (like us) with raising funds for projects. If you would like to find out more about them, please visit the Global Giving Website.
The UK Gateway Challenge is an international fundraising event for 5 weeks where participants must raise £2000 (about $3000) and must get support from 50 unique donations. If we make that, we are secured a permanent spot on Global Giving’s website to raise funds for future projects. So it’s really important to our longer-term sustainability! In addition, we are competing for extra funding prizes during the challenge period.
